1. Natural Salt

This is great when combined with baking soda and borax/lemons to attack soap scum and keep you bathroom in tip top shape.

2. Baking Soda

Baking Soda is literally a must-have for every apartment home.  When combined with lemon and vinegar, this is a great way to clean countertops, microwaves and ovens.  Keep it on hand for keeping those garbage disposals fresh as well.

3. Distilled Vinegar

This natural solvent is great for bathrooms, and when combined with equal parts water, it is an amazing general cleaner to have on hand.  It will spot-treat a carpeted area, keep mirrors shining and is also great for any countertop, including your kitchen table.

4. Lemons

These are great to infuse into vinegar, for a cleaning solution that can tackle just about any job in your apartment.  Also, you don't have to worry about harmful fumes for the kids or your pets.

5. Lemon Juice

Along with borax, this is a great laundry freshener, and you can also boil this with fresh lime, cloves and oranges to make a wonderful natural air freshener.

6. Borax

Borax is the ultimate laundry booster and a capful will make your regular detergent work even harder to remove smells and stains.  Combine it with lemons and vinegar to keep your tub sparkling!
